Celebrate the onset of spring-summer
The heavy energy from the New Moon in Capricorn that just went is lingering. You may feel a bit drained and with lesser energy than usual for all your tasks. Do not worry. This is a passing phase, and you will find yourself with more enthusiasm with each passing day.
There are a couple of festivals during the week. Tuesday is Vasant Panchami, the spring festival, in which yellow is a dominant, celebratory color. Wear yellow and pray to Devi Saraswati, the goddess of learning and wisdom, on this day.
Friday is Ratha Sapthami, a great day to worship Lord Surya. Wake up early, before the rising Sun to welcome the first rays. This is a great day to do Surya Namaskars facing the rising Sun. This is a good day for donation and charity work. Chanting the Gayatri Mantra is auspicious on this day, especially. Ratha Saptami heralds the start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It also marks the start of the harvest season, and is especially significant for the farming community.
