We are one big family
The week starts with the full moon in Leo on Monday, March 9. In India, this is happening late at night, at 11.19 to be precise. This full moon is happening opposite the Sun in Aquarius. Aquarius typically brings our focus on the collective relationships with each other while Leo wrestles with that balance with individuality. As a race, we will be concerned more with our collective identity. This is important especially given the political times that we are currently facing throughout India. But globally, too, it took the coronavirus to make us slow down and question our life purpose, and the meaning of it all. We are also examining our symbiotic relationships with each other. We are more aware now than ever before our inter-dependence on each other. It’s the time to cooperate with each other, and work towards a common collective goal rather than work on individual goals.
The full moon this week will kick off this collective reliance on each other even stronger. We will truly imbibe the beautiful Sanskrit words of Vasudaiva Kutumbakam – the world is one big family. Following the full moon we will experience the full impact of this interdependence, and our specific role of individuality in this larger scheme of things. We will realise more than ever before that we are not living in isolation, and that we are social beings that feed off each other.
The second big event this week is that Mercury is going to move direction on March 10. So it is especially important to take things slower than usual on Tuesday and a few days after. The retrograde effect is powerful during these movements, so make sure that you are not signing important contracts or starting anything new during this time. You might feel that things are not going as smoothly as they normally do. Just observe the pace of life around you, and let go. Also, don’t panic! Information that comes your way this week usually takes time to unravel fully. So you may not have all the pieces of the puzzle yet to get the big picture.
Towards the end of the week, on March 14, the Sun moves from Aquarius to Pisces. You can expect a bit of moodiness, confusion over goals and inability to tick every item off your must-do list. Give yourself a break and take it slow during the weekend.
